“Simplify, then add lightness.” Colin Chapman had such a wonderful way to look at car design. Lotus cars have been known for their beautiful engineering, and obsession with weight reduction. Over the decades this philosophy has remained true from the F1 constructors’ title championship cars, to the number of road and sports cars that Lotus Cars have produced. The Lotus Exige design continues that engineering tradition with a unique aluminum extrusion frame and composite body shell – a no compromises road going sports car.

You are looking at a one owner Lotus Exige 240 S with only 8,600 documented miles. No accidents, original paint, underside is clean. Clean AutoCheck/CarFax, and clean title.

This top of the line Lotus Exige S 240 comes with the following factory options - Track Pack, Touring Pack, Star Shield, Lifestyle Paint (Phantom Black). Being the Exige S 240 model means this car also has the variable traction control (adjustable on the fly on the steering column).

With the intercooled, supercharged, 1.8L engine puts out 240hp and is able to go from 0 to 60 in 4.0 seconds, with a top track speed of 150+mph. The car weighs in at under 2100lbs and is exceptional to drive – a true driver’s car that leaves you nothing less than fully engaged.

The car has only seen three track days, the rest is summer only usage here in the Seattle area. Modifications are limited to a lightweight Braille battery, and four point Schroth harnesses.
