After building some of the most prestigious and luxurious sedans in the industry, AMG performance partnered with Mercedes-Benz quality and gave notice that the future of performance luxury was beings served when the hammer came down. Though this partnership had been brewing for many years prior to the turn of the century, by the early 2000s, it was clear that the increasing exceptional technology, race-bred chassis engineering, and phenomenal engine output had raised an already high bar on these specially built vehicles.
Nowhere was this more evident than in the near “sleeper” like qualities of the V8 powered AMG sedans of the mid 2000s. The perfectly balanced E Class series offered the ideal blend of dignified elegance, top-tier performance, and well-rounded daily use traits. Impressively matched with 507hp and a whopping 465 lb. ft. torque, the 7-speed “Speedshift” transmission launched the E63 to 60 mph in just a tick over 4 seconds. Not bad for a car that delivered comfort for four passengers, superb audio, ample travel-worthy trunk space, and respectable fuel consumption especially given its performance capacities.
This E63 AMG was sold to the first owner in Florida, who retained the car just one year before selling it to the second and current owner. Maintenance since new has been exemplary in every respect with regular dealership care, fluid services, proper detailing, and consistent indoor storage.
