What Does It Cost To Go Racing? Less than you think....

I’ve had the same conversation three times now since this car arrived. People walk up to it (as anyone does when there is a race car in the building) and start looking it over and asking questions. We talk about the fact that it is an original NASCAR chassis, how it’s has been upgraded in subsequent years, the high level of cosmetics when you look it over, etc. Then the million-dollar question…

I ask them, what do you think the dollar level is on a race car like this?  And the responses so far:

  • $150,000?

  • $125,000-$150,000?

  • Something well over $100,000?
