As England and North America both benefited from the growth of the UK cottage industry sports car development, the Austin Healey 3000 reached the pinnacle of development with the Mark III - wonderfully appointed and powered by a robust 6-cylinder engine, the final iteration of the "Big Healey" achieved 150 bhp via a new higher lift camshaft and SU HD8 carburetors.

This example underwent a comprehensive restoration in 2013, covering all aspects of the car complete with body work, engine rebuild with dyno testing, 5-speed transmission conversion with performance clutch and lightened flywheel, rebuilt suspension, and numerous other details. Finished in a beautiful two-tone combination, this Mark III presents in remarkable cosmetic and mechanical condition - ready for enjoyable driving, shows, and Austin Healey club events.
